My Mom LOVED her flowers!! I can read my Mom like a book, and more often than not disappoint her somehow on her birthday. I sent a couple of items from online and was worrying about them not fitting. So early morning from another state, I chose The Petal and the Stem (what good luck!) to send the Hopelessly Devoted (standard) bouquet and a balloon to my Mom to be delivered that day. WELL, I have sent flowers to my Mom before, and usually get a 'They are very pretty dear, thank you', or some such. NOT THIS TIME!!! Mom called when they were delivered and I asked how she liked them...'OH...they're *just* GORGEOUS...*just* GORGEOUS!...thank you so much dear!'. I guess The Petal and the Stem is my new florist for my Mom! PS: When I found out my Mom was leaving the house at 1:30pm that day I called the florist in a panic wondering if the flowers would get too cold outside if she wasn't home to accept them. Thanks to you all, you did it!...Mom called at 1:29pm with the Thank You. :):) WHOOT!
